Bookish Thoughts for September
It’s been a very fictional fall for me! I’ve been in book heaven with so many new releases this month. It seems like each week I’m looking forward to a new book! This month, I enjoyed new Christmas novellas from Melody Carlson and Roseanna M. White. I couldn’t wait for the Christmas season to read them. I had to start them right away! When I wasn’t reading a new release, I was filling my time by binge reading Kasey Stockton’s regency romances. The regency era isn’t my favorite genre, but it was nice to mix things up and camp out there for a while. A big thanks to Kasey Stockton for filling my September!
A good chunk of my month has been quiet and around the house. My husband’s work schedule shifted and hunting season started at the same time. For a couple of weeks it felt like Jeremy was only eating and sleeping at home. In his absence, I became the parent that held down the fort at home. The boys did join Jeremy out hunting a few times which meant I got extra time to read. I’ve been playing those cozy (aka cheesy) YouTube videos with falling leaves, crackling fires, and soft piano music while I snuggle in with a good book. September has definitely been my month to stay home with my nose in a book. Not a bad way to welcome my favorite season of the year!
